Central Bank Consumer Protection Directorate Presentation to IMIA Members

Thank you to the team in the Consumer Protection Directorate in the Central Bank of Ireland for an excellent presentation on the 28th May to Irish MiFID Industry Association (IMIA) members. It was great to hear from the team Des Ritchie, Orla Mellett, CFA and Amy Lumsden on the Consumer Protection Outlook Report, ESMA Common Supervisory Actions and Dear CEO letters on Risk Appetite Statements and Control Frameworks/Structured Retail Products.

We also had a very engaging Q&A, touching on disclosures for investment products for retail consumers, the move to SREP based supervision and upcoming supervisory priorities.
