John Gilsenan

John Gilsenan is Head of Compliance with Quilter Cheviot since its establishment as a separate entity in mid-2019.

He has many years of experience in financial services and has worked in senior Director and Compliance roles in Fund Service Providers, Insurance Intermediaries and Investment Management Firms.

Ronan is a Fellow of Compliance Institute (FCI), a Licentiate of The Institute of Banking (LIB), a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) and a Certified Financial Crime Prevention Practitioner (CFCPP). Ronan holds an MSc in Compliance from University College Dublin (UCD), a first class honours MBA from the Smurfit Business School, UCD as well as a Higher Diploma in Technology Management from the National Institute of Technology Management (NITM) in UCD. Ronan also holds APAs in Personal General Insurance and Commercial General Insurance.
